Taylor Swift Looks Flawless In High-Waisted Shorts

Taylor looked gorgeous in a pair of high-waisted shorts as she left the gym looking perfectly put together — and you can get her retro headband here. SHOP!

24-year-old Taylor Swift is known for writing songs about her heartbreak, but on May 15 in NYC Taylor was the one breaking hearts in her fifties-inspired outfit as she left the gym. High-waisted denim shorts, a baby pink button-down shirt, adorable red heeled oxfords, and a headband made Taylor look every bit stylish and chic — and we loved her leggy city look!

Taylor Swift’s Headband & High-Waisted Shorts — NYC Outfit:

Taylor, who always embraces vintage fashion, stayed true to her sense of style by pairing her preppy yet classic top and red heeled oxfords with a pair of medium wash, high-waisted shorts. These shorts have pocket detailing in the front and feature a button closure. Staying true to their fifties roots, these shorts are a bit longer than most high-waisted shorts that we typically see. Together, all of these elements are flattering and manage to make Taylor’s impossibly long legs look even longer.

While her outfit was classic and chic, it was the way she styled it that really made the look her own. Taylor can’t seem to get enough of a great hair accessory, and her Modcloth headband was no exception! The star sported her ‘Through the Wire’ headband, (which features a bow), in her wavy hair, adding some vintage flair to her get-up — and you can get it here for $13.

The songstress played up the look with her signature red lip, which she matched to her red oxfords — is it just us or were they reminiscent of Dorothy’s slippers? The shoes gave us a modern twist on the the classic oxford style, tying this look together nicely — and she polished it all off with her favorite Dolce & Gabbana handbag!
