Ciara and Russell Wilson's Fairytale Wedding

You already knew from the glimpse of her gown, the sketches of her bridesmaids’ dresses and the peek at her megawatt wedding bands that Ciara’s wedding to Russell Wilson was both super-gorgeous and totally over the top. And in the first portrait released from Wednesday’s wedding, all your suspicions were confirmed.

The photo shows the happy couple and their bridal party posing outside Peckforton Castle in Cheshire, U.K., all beaming in their formal attire. Wilson wears a custom Giorgio Armani made-to-measure evening tails ensemble, while his groomsmen all sport classic Armani tuxedos; Ciara’s one-of-a-kind Cavalli Couture gown features chantilly lace and floral appliqué with a long train and veil, while her bridesmaids all wear custom black stretch satin dressesdesigned individually for them by Michael Costello, with input from the bride.

Peter Dundas, who designed Ciara’s gown, tells PeopleStyle in a statement, “Ciara is a dear friend so making her dress was a labour of love.” And love really was the theme of the gown — just check out the gown’s full train, which features the couple’s new monogram embroidered into the detachable train!

In addition to their attendants (who included Wilson’s childhood best friend Scott Pickett as best man and Ciara’s makeup artist and BFF Yolonda Frederick-Thompson as maid of honor, as well as LaLa Anthony and Kelly Rowland as bridesmaids), the wedding party included Pastor Judah Smith officiating, with Gracie Wilson (Wilson’s niece) as flower girl and Future Zahir, Jr. (Ciara’s son from a previous relationship) serving as ringbearer and wearing an Armani tux of his own.

The whole event — from the intimate ceremony, which was set to music from Marvin Sapp, to the reception, which featured an appearance by Earth, Wind & Fire and continued with music by DJ Nabs — was planned by Mindy Weiss, whose client list includes Nicole Richie and Fergie. And Ciara was given away by her father, Carlton Harris, while her mother Jackie and Wilson’s mother Tammy watched.
