Taylor Swift Fan Surprised by Country Star’s Appearance at Bridal Shower

Taylor Swift proved her commitment to her most loyal fans once again by making a surprise appearance at the bridal shower of one Gena Gabrielle, Los Angeles Times reported.

To drive the heartwarming point further home¸ the 24-year-old "Red" singer reportedly even dropped everything on her to-do list just to make the flight to Ohio, where the bridal shower was being held.

However, the visit turned out to be less a publicity stunt and more of an actual visit to a friend as Swift has actually met Gabrielle several times before.

The fan had been making sure to stop by the singer's meet-and-greet events since 2007 and they have apparently formed a sort of bond as Gabrielle eventually invited Swift to her own bridal shower and the subsequent wedding, E! reported.

Unfortunately, Swift would be unable to attend to the actual wedding. Fortunately, this is the same reason why she made the effort to at least attend the bridal shower, as revealed by a post on Twitter by Gabrielle.

Just a day prior to the bridal shower last Sunday, April 13, Swift was miles away in New York last Saturday, April 12 for a quick cameo in Seth Rogen's opening monologue on "Saturday Night Live."

From there she flew in to Columbus for her appearance at the shower, where she wore a sea foam green dress.

Swift also posed for photos with Gabrielle, gamely holding gigantic letters spelling out the word "love" together with the bride-to-be. During the shower, Swift also got to meet Gabrielle's fiancé Bryan and pose for some group selfies with Gabrielle's other friends and guests.

"I had no idea it was going to happen," said Gabrielle, expressing her pleasant surprise over the singer's visit. "[Taylor] said she planned it with her management and her mom. She said it was all worth it because my face was priceless."

"It was a complete surprise. She's an incredible person and amazing friend," Gabrielle posted another message on Twitter.

Gabrielle also posted another message, revealing just how adamant Swift was about at least going to the bridal shower. The bride-to-be mentioned that Swift's management told her "she didn't have time and she said, 'No, I'm going to Ohio. I can't make the wedding and I promised her.'"

Another post from Gabrielle made clear that "Taylor didn't crash the bridal shower she had an invitation ;) I'm really not that special and I'm still in awe she did this for me."
