Taylor Swift always looks put together, even when she’s leaving the gym — and that’s exactly what she did when she stepped out in NYC on May 3! The 21-year-old looked beyond amazing in a conservative chic ensemble post-workout, looking like she was heading into the office. Her knee-length Oscar de la Renta frock consisted of a gingham top — and the belted ensemble looked phenomenal with her bold red purse!

The star’s belted, short-sleeved dress, from the designer’s Spring 2014 collection, fit her svelte frame perfectly. She tied the look together with her red J. Mendel purse. The oversized envelope clutch has a long strap, which makes it so versatile. While Tay sported it during the day, you can easily remove strap and rock it as just a chic clutch for a night out!

Taylor Swift’s Red Bag & Oscar De La Renta Dress:

Personally, I love the way the songstress sported her signature red lips, and she really made the entire outfit pop by pairing it with the red purse. The hint of red also contributed to the retro vibe of the ensemble. Vintage-inspired ensembles seem to be a new staple in Taylor’s NYC wardrobe — and we can’t get enough of them!

She kept the look neat and chic by pairing it with a pair of Saint Laurent platform oxford pumps in a neutral hue.
